    Entry Information
    • - Airport Pickup Service Schedules will be announced separately a week before the start of the new semester.
    • - Please arrange your flight, to arrive before 4pm during these periods so that KLI can provide the proper transportation.
    • - KLI staff will assist you at the Meeting Area (Gate F) on the 1stflooroftheIncheonInternationalAirport.

    Visa Application
    • - Applicants for KLI’s regular semester course should apply for General Training (D-4) visa at the Korean Embassy. Please check the required documents for visa application according to your nearest consular’s requirements before applying for the visa.
      - D-4 visa is valid for 6 months and it can be extended in Korea for as much as one and a half years. All procedures including visa acquisition should begin 2 months before the start of the semester since it takes around a month to acquire the visa.

    Tuition and Fees

    • 1. Insurance Enrollment
    • -All international students are required to enroll in traveler’s insurance.
    • -Students who entered Korea before February 28, 2021: Automatically switched to the National Health Insurance (NHI).
    • -Students who entered Korea after February 28, 2021: Eligible for NHI six months after the date of entry.
    • -Insurance Fee Information
    • -General international students (7-month insurance): 90,000 KRW
    • -National Health Insurance: Approximately 70,000 KRW per month
    • -The NHI enrollment date and coverage period are subject to change.
    • 2. Textbook Fees
    • -Textbooks for each level (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced): Approximately 50,000 KRW
    • 3. Dormitory Residence
    • -New students are required to live in the dormitory during their first semester.
    • -Dormitory fees (including maintenance fees) are subject to change.
    • -Additional fees apply for staying in the dormitory during vacation periods.

    Tuition Payment Method
    • The students that successfully pass through the preliminary screening have to pay the tuition fee via international remittance. In order to transfer the money to the financial institution, refer to the INVOICE sent by the university.

    • After transferring the money, forward the receipt to the university
    • The exceeding amount of the remittance will be transferred to the student's personal account in Korea. (the process may take 1 month)

      (from 2008 the former standard bank account will cease to be used)

    Tuition Fee Refund
    • If the student wants to cancel the application before the start of semester, one can receive a full refund of the tuition fee.
      And if one wants to dropout after the start of semester, the tuition fee will be refunded according to the refund standard.
