Special Activity

The Korean Language Institute is a place where they will live with other students and experience a Korean lifestyle where they will come understand responsibility, student life, and cultures. Therefore we are planning a variety or different programs so that the students can learn Korean effectively

- Topik is a test for evaluating Korean skills and utilizing the results or getting jobs or qualifying university applicants. If student wants to apply for entering university , they should have upper 3grades in ranges f 1~6 rating.
- K.L.I has an intensive class for Topik and accept the group receive.

Global-School

- University students and graduate students are participating as volunteers for Korean language assistant.
- Assistants and Foreign students are having weekly meetings for experiencing about korean culture and learning korean language conversation.
- If you want to participate in Global-school, Please go to 유학생교육팀 the second floor in student center and apply for it.
- They will arrange a Korean language assistant for you.

Cultural Tour

In one semester, for three days they will go on a cultural tour to learn about Korean tradition, Arts, and Culture. They will go into the various regions and cultures of Korea, and through exploring ancient ruins will come to have a better understanding of Korea's history and culture.

Korean speech contests and performance

There are event to boast your Korean skills and show performances , singing, other talents to people in every semester.

Foreigner Volunteer Activity

Foreign students may have chance to know and understand more about Korean culture when they experience farm village volunteering activity.

Participate in local Community Festivals

There are lots of festivals like 흥타령축제 in Cheon-An or other major cities to give you a chance to experience and learn about Korean culture.

Korean Speech Contests for Foreigners

K.L.I students have been participating a writing contests and speech contest held by educational organizations, press, domestic university in order to have chances to improve their korean skills

Festival

- Foreign student will be provided a designated zone as "International student street" by S.M.U during the festival in may every year.
- country will create a booth and will begin by introducing their colorful cultures, traditional games, crafts exhibit, and food festival.
- Each country can start by presenting their culture's music and performing traditional dances during the cultural events
- The foreign students will be able to show their traditions at the festival and the korean students can come to a better understanding of them.
